Valentine’s, Rainbows and Birds

I have been such a busy girl today! it was a pretty nice day then just a bit ago the sky opened up and it rained cats and dogs.

I managed to get a gorgeous photo of an American Finch today. Isn’t she so pretty?
I think she might be having babies, she is a lot chunkier then the others I’ve seen.

I’m not sure, but it might be a Lesser Gold Finch.

Before I snapped that Finch photo I made a video for my Crystal Psalm 23 Bracelet and Rainbow Suncatchers for my Krystal Kat’s website. I made a video to show off my Psalm 23 bracelet and my Rainbow suncatcher.

Okay well I want to be sure I get this out before I take off for some shut eye, don’t forget about Valentine’s Day!

Finally A Sunny Day!

After over a week of rain until and now we have a tiny bit of sunshine today. Oh how I love sunshine! that’s the wonderful thing about living in California is we are so blessed with lots and lots of sunshine. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Most our days are sunshine and southern California has even more then us. In the Northern end, we actually have much colder weather then the southern end in certain parts.

Last week on January 19th, in between storms I tried to video capture some Robins. I see lots of different birds each day, so I will try to video capture as many as I can through the year.

Okay…. well I am going off to try and see if today might be the day I can video capture some more birds. I seen a really pretty one out my window. I have not idea what kind of bird it is, but it’s beautiful. ~Kat

Snow Day Silly Video

On January 2, my husband, daughter and me went to Emigrant Gap, Sierra Mountains in California to play in the snow with our two dogs, Edie our Chihuahua and Effie our Chorkie, that’s half Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier. After playing in the snow awhile we stopped in Auburn close to home and had lunch at Marie Callender’s for salad bar and pie. Yummy!

I didn’t think our dog Effie the Chorkie would like the snow at all she hates getting her paws wet, but she loved the snow. Edie our Chihuahua usually loves all things when it comes to going on trips, but hated the snow. So at the end of the movie I am talking to Edie about the snow and she looks pathetic. Almost like she is saying get me out of here. But Effie our black and red dog is chasing snow balls, which I am very surprised about, because she hates getting her paws wet. Anyway we had a great family day. Even though this is not all my family it was still fun.

Again I took this video with my new Flip Camera, I can’t tell you enough how much I love this thing……

New Huge 100mm Crystal Suncatcher & Crystal Pencil Suncatcher

Hello, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and very happy New Year!

This weekend we went to Emigrant Gap with my daughter and our pups Edie and
Effie, we had fun playing in the snow. Below is my husband and my daughter Kirsten.

My husband got some very nasty flu last night and he is pretty sick today. We
both had the flu shots but not H1N1 shots. Hopefully he will feel much better
tomorrow. I hope no one is getting the nasty flu. Stay well everyone.

I wanted to drop in and let you know about a interesting recipe I came across

Here is the new huge 100mm cone suncatcher. It’s 4 inches long and then I added the crystal
beads on the top. Very beautiful!!!
