Shiny MoonBeams Earring of the Month Club

Do you need a surprise each month, something a little special just for you? do your ears feel naked without earrings? well mine do. I wear earrings even if I am staying home. I love to make earrings, but kind of stopped making as many for the past few years, as I have been concentrating on making my crystal suncatchers and other handmade jewelry.

I love getting surprises don’t you?  I love getting packages in the mail too! I admire other Jewelry Artisans as well and I myself would love joining a earring club. I make all my own jewelry, something to match my spring, summer, fall and winter wardrobes.

I have a box full of earrings and I can never never have enough. I want more new styles and I love my old faithfuls too. But I desire and grave for something new each season.

If you are like this then I am sure you will be very happy with a earring club subscription as well.

Well now I have created a Earring of the month club for earring lovers. I named it Shiny MoonBeams Earring of the Month Club.

This is just a sampling of what you might expect, although I don’t want to give away the surprise.

These are some spring retro style earrings, and the gold and black are fall style. If you like mixed media like me you’ll really enjoy the Mixed Mixed club. That will give you Sterling Silver, 24K Gold Filled and Copper Earrings. What fun!

I Have a New Shop - Shiny MoonBeams Shop

Hello, once again another month has nearly passed……just a few more days and February will be all gone. It’s raining cats and dogs right now.

This week my husband and I took a ride out to the country, that’s about a 3 minute drive from our house, but we ended up in a great spot to photograph birds, a California birding  hot spot, off Brewer and Nicolaus in the western edge of Placer County. I have a nice DSLR camera it’s great for your first DSLR camera. Mine is a Sony a300. I really love this camera, it’s been fun learning to use it and some day when I understand all these functions then I can progress to a more complicated camera, but for now this is perfect for me.

Anyway I got this nice shot of a Male Nuttall’s Woodpecker.

Isn’t he gorgeous! we have these at the house too sometimes I hear them pecking away, but I’ve never captured one in a photograph before so, it was pretty exciting for me.

Okay so onto Jewelry. I have opened a new shop, I put it together myself and have been working on it off and on for a few months. This shop is going to be for Beach Style Jewelry, a handbags that I am going to make and a surprise which I will talk about when the time is right.

It took me awhile to get it the way I wanted it to look. Now I just have to get busy making my handbags.

I plan on making several styles to start with, the beach retro girls, birds (No Kidding!), sugarskulls and pets (Dogs and Cats). Those are the themes I plan on concentrating on to start with.

February New Jewelry Added to Krystal Kat’s

I just updated my website at www.krystalkats.com with new jewelry, earrings, spring bracelets and necklace’s.

Valentine’s, Rainbows and Birds

I have been such a busy girl today! it was a pretty nice day then just a bit ago the sky opened up and it rained cats and dogs.

I managed to get a gorgeous photo of an American Finch today. Isn’t she so pretty?
I think she might be having babies, she is a lot chunkier then the others I’ve seen.

I’m not sure, but it might be a Lesser Gold Finch.

Before I snapped that Finch photo I made a video for my Crystal Psalm 23 Bracelet and Rainbow Suncatchers for my Krystal Kat’s website. I made a video to show off my Psalm 23 bracelet and my Rainbow suncatcher.

Okay well I want to be sure I get this out before I take off for some shut eye, don’t forget about Valentine’s Day!
